Kabely
Kabely potěší především elektrikáře, firmy zabývající se elektroinstalacemi, ale také domácí kutily, kteří mají minimální znalosti s elektrickým proudem. Kabely lze dělit do několika základních skupin. Tou základní skupinou jsou kabely silové, tedy Kabely a vodiče 230/400V, které se využívají především pro přenos elektrické energie. Skládají se ze dvou a více většinou měděných nebo hliníkových vodičů, které jsou jednotlivé chráněny ochranným pláštěm ve společné izolační vrstvě. Vodiče v kabelu mohou být buď z plného drátu nebo z jednotlivých tenkých drátků tzv. lanko. Mezi nejznámější druhy silových kabelů patří CYKY, CYLY, CYSY, CYKY-LO a další. Další skupinou jsou Kabely datové (UTP, STP, FTP), tedy pro přenos dat mezi sítěmi, servery, počítači atd. Z názvů jednotlivých skupin kabelů lze poté odvodit jejich využití. Např. Optické kabely jsou vhodné pro přenos optického signálu. Telefonní kabely zase pro přenos telefonního signálu, tedy ústředny, faxy, stolní telefony atd. Koaxiální kabely jsou vhodné pro přenos signálu od zdroje k přijímači, např. anténní zásuvkou a TV. Napájecí kabely jsou vhodné k propojení různých zdrojů a spotřebičů k síti 230/400V.
